Kim Verduyckt started SCN in 2021, a small online group of friends and colleagues who wanted to learn from each other. Today that small group has over +4000 members...

"2019 was the year I started my own solar cleaning business, without any previous experience by the way. Quickly realising i couldn't find any info online on how to do this type of work. With a background in marketing as agency owner in solar, and being part of a few communities in the marketing world, i convinced myself to copy the success of such groups and build our own community on Facebook as well. Not only to share our work and find support, but mainly because there's a huge lack of education in our industry. I was extremely motivated and willing to fill that gap by partnering up with other experienced solar cleaners and experts. I knew that building our community in this industry would be key for all of us working in solar O&M.

When i open Facebook in the morning now, and i see all the conversations going on, people posting their work, asking for help, referring leads to each other,.... It's just a wonderfull feeling, one that i can best describe as being proud. A little proud of myself of course, but mainly proud of all our members who made this solar cleaners network community one of the best in the world."
